Avoiding Fees

Cell phone companies are known for throwing in fees that you don’t really know about until you get your bill. The activation fee can be as much as $25 dollars so you need to look over your contract before you sign so that you are aware of everything. If you take your time and don’t let the sales person talk over your head, then you will know all the details and get the best mobile phone deals that can be found.

There is one question that you can ask that will be helpful to you in the future of your cell phone contract.  Ask how many times you can change your package within the time of your contract.  You never know what will happen next year and if you need to change you plan, you should be able to do that. Maybe you will need to downsize or even upgrade and you want to do that without being charged a fee.
Cancellation fees will be at least one-hundred and fifty dollars and this amount will depend on your provider. If you come across a better cell phone deal, you will have to wait for your contract to end before you can change to another carrier.
